New Year Styled

I’ve never been a fan of January. It’s cold. It’s dark. And there are no more scheduled days off for months. Plus all we hear about isΒ “new year new you” mumbo jumbo. To try to get through this dark month, I’m focusing in on my closet and figuring out new ways to wear things and quite possibly getting rid of things that I don’t wear. Did I mention I’m also doing a no-spend period? My goal is just day to day, but I’m hoping to make it the whole month without spending $$ on clothes and accessories. We will see if I can make it past the Lilly Pulitzer after party sale that starts on January 5. That will be my biggest test. What are you doing to get through January?

One thing I do know for sure is that this sweater will continue to be in rotation. It is that perfect combination of comfort and style. I can throw it on with leggings and feel like I’m still in pajamas (even at work). Plus I could pair it with jeans or a nicer pair of pants if I want to get fancy. Throw on a pretty statement necklace and I’m good to go!

Pretty sweater!! Too funny about the mumbo jumbo New you stuff! January is tough and dreary but you’re cute as can be!

That sweater is GORGEOUS. I love the length, color, and particularly how you styled it.

I’m wearing a tunic sweater today (in real life) and I can tell that this is what I’m going to want to live in all month. It’s just so warm and cozy! I wish I could shop for more but I’m also on a spending freeze…I’m attempting three months!

I love this!! Sweater tunics are some of my favorite winter staples and I really love this sort of forest-y green color. Also love the boots πŸ™‚
