If you have been to Puppies & Pretties regularly, you know I’m a jewelry junkie. I love how changing just a necklace can totally transform an outfit. A big, bold statement necklace can add a pop to your outfit that might be missing. Or something dainty can add femininity. Of course, you can layer for a mix of both. For today’s outfit, I mixed both. I kept the base of my outfit simple; a white tunic and black leggings. But then layered a bold statement necklace and a dainty one for a easy workday outfit.
I’m always on the hunt for new and exciting jewelry. So when I was introduced to Uncommon Goods, I couldn’t be more excited. Uncommon Goods has all kinds of jewelry; necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, and even personalized! You can see them all here. What I love about Uncommon Goods is that each piece has a story. You get to read about the maker’s story and what inspired them to create each piece. Even better? Half of their items are made by hand and the most of the jewelry is made right here in the USA.
Another great feature of Uncommon Goods is their gift guides. If you are like me and struggle to figure out gifts for people, their guides can get you started without having to wade through the entire site. I know I’ll be taking advantage of their Mother’s Day gift guide here. Then not too long after that, graduations start to roll around. I know I would of rather gotten an inspirational gift like some of these rather than the random gifts that I got graduating!
Now let me tell you about my Uncommon Goods picks. I was immediately drawn to the Mosaic Necklace because of the beautiful colors and the versatility. You can wear it double looped, long, or even as a bracelet. For my dainty pick, I went with the Connection Necklace. I love that it mixes silver and gold, meaning it is that perfect necklace if you have to change throughout the day or to take on vacation. Plus it is just so darn pretty. While I’m usually drawn to statement necklaces, I’ve been trying to incorporate more dainty pieces into my wardrobe and this one fits the bill.
Tell me, what kind of jewelry do you gravitate to; big and bold or small and dainty? I’d love to hear your favorite picks from Uncommon Goods!
Thank you Uncommon Gifts for sponsoring this post.
